In 1992 I-TIM was honored to receive “The Best School Award” from the Ministry of Education The award was presented to I-TIM's Founding President, Col. Somchai Hiranyakit, by H.R.H.Princess Sudasiri Sobha. In 2004, Mr. Sakchai Puiphunthawong, from Tak Province, was awarded the “Royal Student Award” from H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Sakchai completed high school at Takpittayakom School in Tak. His first year internship was at the Shangri-La hotel, Bangkok and the second year at Le Royal Meridien, Bangkok.
